Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Bent County, Colorado. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 5+ years on the tools preferred.
