Groundworker • Newaygo County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Newaygo County, Michigan. You will work with a civil contractor. Your main tasks: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days You should have: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
