Core maker • Portage County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Portage County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
