We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Mecosta County, Michigan. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Day to day you will check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
