Offshore rigger wanted in Copper River Census Area

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
