Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Day to day you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile.
