Stitching operator • Clay County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Clay County, Georgia. The job is at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
