Rigging foreman — Lamar County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Lamar County, Texas. You will be based at a power plant. Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
