Vacancy available: backhoe loader operator (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Walker County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook. Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently 3+ years on the tools preferred.
