Groundsman — Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Washington County, Kentucky. You will be based in a public park. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Day to day you will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
