Pipe TIG welder wanted in Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Putnam County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces You will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
