Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Pankshin, Plateau State. The role involves brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
