Crane rigger • Jackson County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Jackson County, Iowa. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours.
