Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Suffolk County, New York. The job is at a halal meat counter. The role involves stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; season and marinate meat on request; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
