Brickwork mason wanted in Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Wayne County, North Carolina. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
