Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Phillips County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day-to-day duties: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists 1+ years on the tools preferred.
