UPVC welding machine operator — Dorset

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Dorset, England. You will work on a window-and-door production line. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. £3,400 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
