Foundry labourer • Ingawa, Katsina State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Ingawa, Katsina State. You will work on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
