Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Marion County, Mississippi. The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
