TIG welder — Pendleton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Pendleton County, West Virginia. You will work on a structural steel site. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
