On a typical shift you will mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
