Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ikole, Ekiti State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Six days a week, one day off.
