We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator in Androscoggin County, Maine. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Good attention to detail and steady hands The role involves: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
