Shakeout operator wanted in Yoakum County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Yoakum County, Texas. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
