Brick and block layer • Darazo, Bauchi State

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Darazo, Bauchi State. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day ₦850 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
