Furnace operator wanted in Berrien County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Berrien County, Georgia. You will work at a busy iron foundry. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
