Immediate opening: we are hiring a smash repairer in Alexander County, Illinois. The job is at a commercial fleet workshop. You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines On a typical shift you will treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
