Punch press operator — Ulster County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Ulster County, New York. The job is at an auto components factory. On a typical shift you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time with occasional weekends.
