Floor screeder — Merced County

Now hiring: we are hiring a floor screeder in Merced County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Six days a week, one day off.
