Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Nome Census Area, Alaska. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Your main tasks: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims Six days a week, one day off.
