Semi-automatic welder — Mkpat Enin

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Mkpat Enin, Akwa Ibom State. On the job you will handle: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred.
