Formwork carpenter — Inverclyde

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
