Die-casting operator — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Hancock County, Kentucky. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
