Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Victoria County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Part-time with flexible hours.
