We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread baker in Glenn County, California. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes The role involves: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
