Shuttering charge hand — West Carroll Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Six days a week, one day off.
