Furniture maker — Daviess County

Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Daviess County, Missouri. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage You will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
