Immediate opening: fusing press operator (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Borough of Bolton, England. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
