Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Rock County, Minnesota. You will work on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
