Falsework carpenter wanted in St. Lawrence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in St. Lawrence County, New York. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Six days a week, one day off.
