Requirements: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Day-to-day duties: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
