We are recruiting: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Monroe County, Iowa. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets On the job you will handle: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Part-time with flexible hours.
