Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto painter in Clinton County, Indiana. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. On a typical shift you will compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
