LGV Class 1 driver — Nguru

Immediate opening: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Nguru, Yobe State. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. You should have: • Valid digital tachograph card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel On the job you will handle: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Full-time with occasional weekends.
