Ceramic tiler — Kenai Peninsula Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas What we are looking for: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Rotating shifts.
