Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Black Hawk County, Iowa. The role involves report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; set up and start the machine as per the job card; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
