Heavy equipment operator (dozer) • Hampden County, Massachusetts

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Hampden County, Massachusetts. You will work at a land-clearing site. On a typical shift you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; refuel the machine and record running hours; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
