Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Atiba, Oyo State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection ₦120,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
