Counter butcher — Baltimore County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Baltimore County, Maryland. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
