You should have: • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes Day to day you will drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish.
